Transworld
Skateboarding vs Transworld Biz
I'm having a hard time figuring out Transword's
angle in this debate, as there seems to be some inconsistency between
a brief article titled "Ditching Class with the Heavies" in
the April 2007 issue of Transworld Skateboarding Magazine (written by
Carleton Curtis, managing editor of TWS) and the "Under Fire"
suppliment that was "brought to you by the IASC" and "Produced
in Conjunction with Transworld Business Skate Surf Snow [and] Transworld
Skateboarding".
Here's where I see the problem... in Transworld Skateboarding's article,
Carleton describes a grouping of skateboarding's heaviest hitters having
a session at Skip's Ditch:
"Once
the shredding began, skateboarding became pure again. Here was
a crew of sixteen skate titans ripping together just for fun,
without a care of financial gain or media documentation." |
